REDD CLAYY ENTERTAINMENT ARTIST AMANTE RELEASES FIRST EP
Atlanta, Ga May 17, 2007
Redd Clayy Entertainment is pleased to announce their newest release by recording artist Amante’. Titled “STREET
POLITIKS: THE PREQUEL”, the CD is for the preservation of Hip-Hop and Generation X. Today, the EP will be released
in order to satisfy Amante’s fans who can not wait for the release of his mixtape titled, “STREET POLITIKS Vol.
1: AMANTE 4 PREZ”. The EP is filled with smooth, clear vocals, superior lyrics, and catchy hooks mixed with rhythmic
blues and hot beats. Amante’ may be best described as “2pac meets Outkast” or “Ice Cube meets Tribe
Called Quest”. ”STREET POLITIKS: THE PREQUEL” proves that Hip-Hop still lives and that speaking about real
issues can be marketable.
Amante’ constructed the album as if it were a message in the movement to bring real Hip-Hop music back. Due to
redundant materialistic songs, which do not speak to the average person, Hip-Hop has become quite stagnant. In response to
this reality, Amante’ says, “I wanted my music to reflect the struggle of the average day to day person, but at
the same time realistically show how we manage to have fun despite our struggle.”
The CD is composed of a variety of songs that are universal, and reflect a variety of moods for a plethora of listeners.
Social and political issues are among some of the subject matters covered through songs such as, “Southern Poetry”
and “By Any Means”. Amante’ infuses a few party tracks in the CD in order to showcase how a good time can
still be had, despite the many political and social issues we face. He does this through songs such as. “Back 2 Da Basics”
and “Get It In”.
“THE PREQUEL” is just the first chapter of Amante’s campaign trail to become Hip-Hop’s President.
It will be preceded by a three volume mixtape series in sync with his campaign. After Amante’s election victory, his
album titled, “The Speech”, will be released in November 2008. Cast your ballots and VOTE AMANTE 4 PREZ!

Sabrina LaMar a.k.a. Playa Pooh was born in Atlanta,
Georgia at Grady Memorial Hospital on October 1st.
She was raised on the southwest side of Atlanta, Georgia in the Campbellton Rd Community. With the
"Pooh" already being a childhood nick name, she discovered her love for hip hop at an early age will listening to other female
rappers such as Salt & Peppa
Queen Latifah, JJ Fad, Mc Lyte and M.C. Yo Yo. She wrote her very 1st rap while in the 6th, when her english teacher told
her to do a book report in a musical style and perform it in front of the class. Needless to say she received an "A" on her
book report, but also discovered her talent and decided on a career as an m.c.
At the age of 14, Playa Pooh went to live with her biological father Ray Thomas (co-writer of Curtis Mayfield's "New
World Order) who was also known in the streets as Suga Ray, for his ability to sweet talk the ladies. While living with her
father, he taught her how to master her craft and and to always rap about life as she knew it. He introduced her to his longtime
friend at the time by the name of Carlos Glover, who was an engineer at Patchwerk Studios in Atlanta. Carlos and her father
often took her to the studio and introduced her to several artists such as M.C. Breed, George Clinton, Eric Sermon, Kool-Ace,
Kilo Ali and Raheem The Dream to name a few. By the time she was 16yrs old, Raheem the Dream asked her to put one her rhymes
on his song for his upcoming album. The song never made the album but it gave her the confidence she needed to persue her
dreams.
By the time she was 20yrs old, while looking for a job at a staffing company, in an office complex, she entered a building
asking for directions. Not knowing that the office she entered was an independent record company and that she was talking
to the C.E.O. After a brief conversation with him he told her to return so that she could meet the founders of this now defunct
record label called Tiger Media. When she met with then C.E.O. Mackie Chan, Dj Drumajor and Ali, they immediately signed her
and told her to bring her crew of young guys she knew from around the way that rapped as well. But after a numerous amount
of shows and a numerous amount songs recorded, the label could'nt get of the ground, not to mention the differences that the
founders were having. But it was also there that D.j. Drumajor introduced Playa Pooh to Anthony Lanier, who was also a C.E.O.
of another independent label called Knuckle Head Records. Knuckle Head Records had an artist by the name of Co Co Capone whose
album was about to drop. Playa Pooh had several cameos with Co Co on his album. But when the album dropped, it only did good
in Co Co's home town of Milledgeville, Ga.
After a series of disappointments, Playa Pooh decided to take some time off. A few years pasted when she once again ran
into to D.J. Drumajor who convinced her to do a a solo album. A few months later of non stop recording they came up with title
of her first solo album "ATLady".
